We worked with Addleshaw Goddard extensively throughout both their Manchester and Leeds offices to install a range of furniture for their entire executive-facing touchpoints, including boardrooms.

Once the job was complete we sat down with AG’s Ian Pigeon to talk about the project from his perspective.

Ian’s background is in luxury hotel management in the UK and US, then working in facilities management for 13 years at a large IT company, a large investment bank and he’s now at AG: “I’ve worked on over £100 million worth of fit-out projects in three industries across two continents. At AG I am responsible for the client experience and also the majority of the facilities,” he says.

After a consultative period with a number of people from across AG, regarding various options for a furniture supplier, it became quickly apparent to them that William Hands were the top choice: “The product offering from William Hands is of high quality and, equally important, Paul (Alexander, Head of Marketing, William Hands) was committed to offering a superior level of customer service,” says Ian. “William Hands delivered on their commitments, on time and on budget. One minor issue around the built-in AV came to light and it was addressed immediately and with good grace.”

The project involved many areas, including boardrooms: “Decision making is always a critical time and it needs a quick win afterward to reinforce that you’ve made the correct decision. For me that win was the obvious enthusiasm that the William Hands’ team demonstrated throughout every stage of the process,” says Ian. “It was evident that they cared about the project as much as we did and they kept us informed every step of the way. During installation, the team displayed their professionalism throughout, worked well with all concerned parties and were flexible in their approach. Paul and the team were a pleasure to work with.”
